La Alqueria Jùlia is the House of Music and headquarters of the Federation of Musical Societies of the Valencian Community (FSMCV) since October 2020.

A building that was declared a National Monument in 1978 and an Asset of Cultural Interest in 2007 – the highest level of protection for a building in the city of Valencia – housed the Colegio de Santa Bárbara until the 1990s. The restoring architect Carlos Campos has been in charge of the rehabilitation, recovery and restoration project of this 1,986 square meter plot, with a construction of 692 square meters distributed over two floors and an additional 51 square meter tower. As for the garden, it has been restored with the collaboration of the landscaper María Teresa Santamaría.

The building can be considered one of the few preserved examples of a Valencian farmhouse from the 17th century. In addition, aesthetic elements of great value such as vaults, paintings, frescoes, tiles or paving are preserved. An emblematic architectural complex for the city now recovered to house the home of traditional Valencian music. It has created a rehearsal room, a library, a video library, a music library, a sheet music room, as well as different spaces for social and cultural activities.
