María de Andrés’s shop-workshop is dominated by an interior patio full of tropical plants and its own ceramic pieces that give the space light and that feeling of an oasis in the middle of the city.
The work of María de Andrés runs between the ceramic tradition and sculptural art. In the pieces that can be found in her shop there are two differentiated lines: a geometric one, calculated and elaborated from previous sketches and, in contrast, another line of organic and curved forms where intuition and improvisation play a key role.
