In 2015, this art gallery located in the heart of Valencia opened its doors. From the hand of her artistic director, Sara Joudi,it was born with the purpose of offering an intergenerational proposal of great caliber national art..
Shiras Gallery is distributed in two spaces, on the one hand the main room and on the other the refuge space. The first focuses on a space to accommodate the set of established artists of the now and here, while the second – originally built as a war shelter – revolves around an exhibition of avant-garde concepts dedicated to those emerging artists who still have everything to show and tell.
«The latter is an intimate and isolated room, safeguarded by wide exposed brick walls. Sometimes, the works of permanent artists or works from gallery collections are also exhibited here”, they say at Shiras.
