The immensity of the Mercat Central is due to a conjunction of small sighs. Right at its main entrance, a tiny stall acts as a welcome jewel. A work by Jaime Hayon stands out for its greenish-white tiles.
It is the project of Rafa Valls and Mercedes Valle, who fulfilled their common dream of being in the Market. His stall, a pantry of good stories about food production (unique jams, juices with a story), takes special care of his visual discourse. Hayon accepted the challenge, seduced by the possibilities of welcoming Central’s thousands of shoppers.
